BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — The Data Center College of the Philippines (DCCP-Baguio) has officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet, Inc. (SNAP-BI) on September 18, 2026, formalizing their partnership to extend support to qualified students under the Bridging the Gaps in Higher Education through Tertiary Scholarships (BRIGHTS) Program.

The signing ceremony was led by DCCP-Baguio School President Ms. Julieta R. Agonia and SNAP-BI HR Senior Supervisor Ms. Wyelean Puddong. The signing and exchange of copies of the agreement were held at the DCCP-Baguio campus.

The scholarship agreement is anchored on the benefits provided under Republic Act No. 10931, or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act. Under the agreement, SNAP-BI will provide scholarship assistance to deserving and qualified students through the academic institution, while DCCP-Baguio will be responsible for monitoring the scholars’ compliance with the program’s guidelines. The agreement also describes the coordination procedures between SNAP-BI and the school.

Through the MOA, DCCP-Baguio and SNAP-BI reiterate their commitment to helping students continue their college education and to strengthening academe-industry collaboration.

As School President Julieta R. Agonia said, “The scholarship given by SNAP-BI is not just financial assistance but gives hope and opportunity to those who dream of a better future through education.”
